East Coast Septic

Privacy Policy

Updated: 2026-10-05

1. Controller and Contact

Johnny Svensson, operating as East Coast Septic Tanks, is the controller responsible for enquiries handled by this website.

Phone: 046 900 5014. Privacy email: contact@eastcoastseptictanks.ie. Contact address: 39/40 Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2, D02 X7H6, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

2. Information We Handle

If you contact us, we handle the contact details, location and service information you provide, together with correspondence about your request. When online enquiries are enabled, the form asks for a phone number, town or optional Eircode, service choice, optional name and any optional brief details. It also sends the page the enquiry came from, the notice version and your enquiry-contact consent.

Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and service logs, to deliver and protect the website. Please do not send health information, bank details or unnecessary documents.

3. Purposes and Lawful Bases

We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing or use this notice to obtain retrospective permission for an earlier referral. We do not make automated decisions about you or profile you for referral eligibility.

4. Recipients and Service Providers

The website uses Google Firebase Hosting. Formspree processes online submissions and sends them to our contact mailbox, contact@eastcoastseptictanks.ie. An email hosting provider processes messages to deliver and store that correspondence. Enquiries are delivered to the website operator only; there is no automatic contractor forwarding.

An independent contractor receives enquiry details only after your separate permission for that named recipient. They are responsible for their own use of the information and should supply their privacy information. We may also disclose information where a specific legal requirement applies.

5. Processing Outside the EEA

Google Firebase uses global infrastructure, which can involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Formspree processes data in the United States and other countries where it operates, and states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for its processor arrangements. When a transfer requires a safeguard, the relevant contractual terms and transfer requirements must apply to our use of the service.

See Firebase privacy information, Firebase processing terms and Formspree’s privacy policy. You can ask us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

Email processing locations and any additional transfer safeguards depend on the mailbox provider. Contact us for the provider details and safeguards applicable to your correspondence; the email address alone does not establish that data stays in the EEA.

6. Retention

We retain an enquiry while reviewing it, responding to you, or following up an agreed referral. We review its records when the request is resolved, withdrawn or is no longer being pursued, and delete information that is no longer needed. This applies to records in Formspree and our mailbox. If a specific legal obligation, complaint or claim requires some information to be kept longer, we retain only what is necessary and review it when that reason ends. You can contact us to ask about your record or request deletion.

Hosting service records are managed under the provider’s service terms and retention practices; their retention can differ from our enquiry records. Any contractor you appoint applies its own lawful retention policy.

7. Cookies and Tracking

This website does not load analytics or advertising scripts or set analytics cookies. It does not treat continued browsing as consent. Fonts and page visuals are supplied without remote font or stock-image requests.

If tracking is introduced later, it must be explained and any required consent obtained before it loads, with a way to refuse and withdraw. External websites and a form provider’s own pages have their own privacy and cookie practices.

8. Your Rights and Withdrawal

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent to enquiry handling or a referral at any time using the contact details above. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

If data has already been shared with your permission, we can explain the recipient and help you contact them about their records. We may need proportionate information to confirm a requester’s identity. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to the lawful extension rules.

You can complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority. You do not have to complain to us first.

9. Changes

The update date is shown above. A new policy does not itself give permission to share existing enquiries or to use them for a new purpose. Material changes to enquiry processing will be explained before they apply.
